The BrmmBrmm Motoring Guide to Surrey
Surrey is in the South East corner of England and is one of the Home Counties. It borders Greater London, Kent, East Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire. It has 11 boroughs and districts and a population of around 1.1 million.
It is just a stone’s throw away from London, and has numerous historical villages and vibrant prosperous market towns that nestle in the stunning countryside. The county is split in two by the North Downs that run east to west and is England’s most wooded county boasting a huge amount of mature woodland alongside popular beauty spots, such as Box Hill and Frensham Ponds.
The M25 runs around the north eastern part of the county and connects to the M1, M11, M20, M26 and M40, and the M3 to the north west and the M23 to the east, all make Surrey a very easily accessible county where ever you are a travelling from.
