The Pig & Butcher, 80 Liverpool Road, Islington, N1 0QD
Built in the mid 1800’s the Pig & Butcher was originally used by farmers to rest and feed their livestock, before they were sent to Smithfield’s market. Today, they are maintaining this link from the farm straight to the butcher on site. Specialising in rare breeds, they really do care about food, and it is served simply with little fuss. To accompany the food, you can enjoy, hand pulled ales, a range of wines or classic cocktails! What’s not to like?
