Welcome to the September / October edition of BrmmBrmm News. We seem to have had a very mixed summer. Nearly everyone I've spoken to in the North has been frustrated by the rain, yet my trusty 3A has had more outings this Summer than I can remember. Its not over yet of course, especially with classic events like the Goodwood Revival still to come. Here are a couple of recent news items followed by our usual selection of forthcoming events.

Here's a great photo recently submitted by the Tamar Valley MG Owners Club. We liked it so much, we've also just made it our photo of the week. Titled "The oldest Bobby" its a great looking motor, and of course an impeccable uniform. And now for something completely different. The Rochdale Society of Model & Experimental Engineers were recently approached by the East Lancs Railway to erect their portable 5 inch gauge track as part of their annual Teddy Bears Picnic Gala held in Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom on August Bank holiday Monday. Throughout the day the RSMEEs loco's delighted children and parents attending the gala with trips around the track. The society hire out their track and supply loco's both Steam and Battery Electric to pull passengers, and also show a variety of engines belonging to members of the society.
On this occassion one of the loco's on show was a Class 20 Diesel D1939 "Pauline M Hulme". Some of you may be familiar with the name, as Pauline was administrator of the BrmmBrmm Classic Network until she sadly passed away in August 2009. This loco was named in her memory.
