Welcome Folks – After all that early promise of good weather we have seen a return to a "traditional" British summer this time round - plenty of rain!


Still, we’re hardy souls and I hope it didn’t spoil your motoring enjoyment and the days when you were zipping around in your fabulous Classics were good ones. Well, in response to my asking you a favour in the last issue of BB News – which was to send in your photos, I am pleased to report that some of you did just that so I have news for you this month from a couple of our clubs.

The Ford Anglia NW Owners Club held a great event at Tatton Park in June. The weather co-operated and the turnout was good. All the Anglia models were on show over the two-day event. There were two Vans, a standard Estate, Super Estate, De-Luxe and Supers, with two Venetian Gold Supers - “The Twins” – parked at each end of the stand like bookends. Jason Tyler had completed renovation of the “Little UN”, his 1963 Ford Anglia Super (reg no 6781 UN) and it looked splendid on the stand. The previous owner, Judith Wright, came to see her old car back in pristine condition.




St Helen’s Classic Car Association – what can I say? They have never stopped this summer! And they have kindly sent photographic evidence of much of what they’ve been getting up to. Check out the photographs from all their latest events at www.brmmbrmm.com/sthcca
Here’s a pic from their latest foray to Oulton Park on the 29th and 30th August - a good time was had by all!
