Salop Yesteryear Motor Club

SYMC, as it is more popularly known has been established since 1963 in the county of Shropshire. We cater for many differing persuasions from the commercial and military men to lovers of both the vintage and classic motor vehicle; in fact we welcome anyone with an interest in the preservation of older vehicles and so long as the vehicle is over 20 years old it is eligible to take part in club events
THE SALOP YESTERYEAR MOTOR CLUB 40TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY was a splendid affair indeed with first rate weather and first rate food, laid on; People turned up in thier droves to help the day go with a swing. Since we have gained a new lease of life with events and gatherings across the county, evenings in a variety of Shropshire pubs with member exhibiting collectabled and ephemera from their past. One thing that has proved popular is that some members have come together and enjoy an afternoon trialing bangers around a piece of roughly wooded land owned by one member.
