We meet, every Sunday, at the far end of the Car Park at Godshill, between 10.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.After a brief get together, we normally leave at 10.45 a.m for an interesting run to visit a place of interest or explore some of the beautiful lanes and scenery of the Island. Occasionally we will inspect someone's restoration progress. We always finish up having a coffee and natter somewhere, before dispersing at about 12.45 p.m. If the weather is good some of the group might well go off and have picnic. All visitors to the Island are especially welcome to join us at Godshill. During the past few years a number of visitng Car Clubs have joined us on our Sunday runs including, the Austin Ten Drivers Club, Starting Handle Club (Horsham), Ford Side Valve Club, Bean Car Club, 750 Motor Club(Brooklands and North Herts Centres), Solent Sevens, North Hants Kent Centre of the A7OC and the The British Austin Society. 2010 MARCH Sunday, 7th. Monthly Meeting – a miscellany of 10 minute talks by members. Sunday, 28th. 'End of the Line' Café, Freshwater APRIL Sunday, 4th. 'Easter Bonnet' Run to Lavender Farm, Newport Sunday, 11th. The 'Honey Pot' Café, at Busy Bee, Ryde. Sunday, 18th. Coffee at Godshill and then on to the ‘Horse and Groom’, at Shalfleet, for lunch Sunday, 25th. FBHVC 'Drive it Day' to the St. George’s Day Classic Car Display at Northwood House, Cowes. 10.00 – 4.00. Meet at Godshill first to welcome some classic cars from Worcestershire. Monday, 26th. Monthly Meeting – ‘Hudsons and Bantams’ an illustrated talk by David Horsley FUTURE EVENTS May 3rd – 7th. IOWA trip to Warners, Cricket St Thomas, Somerset. May 15th&16th. Beaulieu Motormart Autojumble May 28th – June 1st. A7OC – Kent Centre visit to the Island. June 13th. Robin Lawton, President of the ATDC, and friends hope to meet up with us at Godshill with some interesting cars. June 18th – 20th. IOWA 'Austin Weekend' July 3rd – 4th. '940s Experience'at the IOW Steam Railway. We have been invited to provide 8 cars on each day. Entry Forms are available from Viv Orchard. July 11th. Chale 'icnic on the Green' July 17th.
